|Summary of the main<br>activities in relation to those<br>purposes for the public<br>benefit, in particular, the<br>activities, projects or<br>services identified in the<br>accounts.|Para 1.17 and<br>1.19|Counselling: The organisation will carry out this purpose<br>by providing free or subsidised counselling<br>services to families from low-income homes that need<br>them.<br>- This could be the family; an individual; or a couple.<br>Clients will be required to complete an application<br>form that will assess their eligibility i.e. receipt of<br>benefits; pupil premium; free school meals etc.<br>- They will be offered 12 free sessions or 12 subsidised<br>sessions. If additional counselling sessions are<br>needed, families will be signposted to other services.<br>- Counsellors will be encouraged to become associates<br>of the charity to provide these services. Funding<br>received for this service will be used to pay the<br>counsellors for their services.<br>- This can be self-referral or referred by another<br>organisation.<br>Education: The organisation will:<br>- Provide bespoke virtual or face to face tutoring<br>services to children and young people who are school<br>refusers or not in education, training or employment<br>(NEET).<br>- Work in partnership with schools, colleges, or training<br>centres. This will give children and young people<br>the opportunity to have another chance in obtaining a<br>qualification.|





|||- Work in partnership with tutoring services to provide a<br>smaller child to teacher ratio.<br>- Provide training to all staff members in areas such as<br>attachment, trauma, executive function difficulties,<br>helping them to better engage and co-regulate with the<br>students.<br>- Assessment will be provided to all students to<br>determine readiness for learning before they are<br>assigned<br>to a tutor. If they are not ready for learning the student<br>will be enrolled on a bespoke<br>"motivational/resilience" programme. Which will be a<br>"step up to learning"<br>Work placement: This will be<br>- Carried out by collaborating with the local employers<br>and communities to ensure that young people can<br>obtain a level of work experience.<br>- Based on a voluntary basis. Any risk assessment will<br>be carried out by the employer and the charity.|

These two activities took**<br>**longer than expected, due to limited**<br>**funds and long back log from the banks.**<br>**We have also managed to collaborate**<br>**with a few other organisations willing to**<br>**support our cause. These organisations**<br>**are helping us deliver work placements**<br>**opportunities, and tutoring services. We**<br>**have advertised for social media**<br>**officers, counsellors and tutors. We also**<br>**have an accountant and a funding**<br>**consultant. We have started to put**<br>**together priority policies to ensure we**<br>**are adhering to the governance. Some**<br>**local authorities have expressed**<br>**interest in our work placement**<br>**programme, we are currently liaising**<br>**with them to ensure we are able to offer**<br>**work placement to their children in care**<br>**(looked after children).**|
