Provide Christian materials, provide training to Christian workers, relieve hardship, distress and poverty of those suffering persecution as a result of their Christian beliefs, promote fundamental human rights

Objects: The Objects Of The CIO (The Objects), Which Shall Be Carried Out For The Public Benefit, Are, Through The Provision Of Grants, Items And Services To Charities Or Other Organisations Who:1. To Advance The Christian Faith Around The World, In Accordance With The Statement Of Faith In The Schedule, In Particular But Not Exclusively, By:(a) Providing Bibles And Other Christian Materials, In Written And Other Forms, To Enable Christians And Specifically, Those Who Are Victims Of Religious Persecution, To Practice Their Faith;(b) Providing Training To And Equipping Pastors And Christian Workers;(c) Relieving Financial Hardship, Distress And Poverty Of Those Who Are Suffering Persecution Or Marginalisation As A Result Of Their Christian Beliefs. 2. To Promote Fundamental Human Rights (As Set Out In The Universal Declaration Of Human Rights And Subsequent United Nations Conventions And Declarations) Of Christians Around The World By All Or Any Of The Following Means:(a) Monitoring Abuses Of Human Rights;(b) Obtaining Redress For The Victims Of Human Rights Abuse;(c) Relieving Need Among The Victims Of Human Rights Abuse;(d) Research Into Human Rights Issues;(e) Providing Technical Advice To Government And Others On Human Rights Matters;(f) Contributing To The Sound Administration Of Human Rights Law;(g) Commenting On Proposed Human Rights Legislation;(h) Raising Awareness Of Human Rights Issues;(i) Promoting Public Support For Human Rights;(j) Promoting Respect For Human Rights Among Individuals And Corporations;(k) International Advocacy Of Human Rights;(l) Eliminating Infringements Of Human Rights. In Furtherance Of This Object But Not Otherwise, The Trustees Shall Have Power To Engage In Political Activity Provided That The Trustees Are Satisfied That The Proposed Activities Will Further The Purposes Of The CIO To An Extent Justified By The Resources Committed And The Activity Is Not The Dominant Means By Which The CIO Carries Out Its Objects.
