stated aims it does not preclude individuals
from making an application for a grant.

Para 1.38 No policy in place at this time
Contribution made by
volunteers
Para 1.38 We are extremely proud of our volunteers
and indeed the whole local community who

financial position at the end
of the period
Para 1.21 The Charity has raised £49,463.59 in the
two reporting periods. A single grant of
£6,622.14 has been made and the only

objective of donating as much of the funds
raised to good causes.
Statement explaining the
policy for holding reserves
stating why they are held
Para 1.22 The principal short-term objectives include
raising funds towards play equipment in
memory of Liam Hills and for specialist
equipment required by Bethany Shaw and
the latter was achieved in this reporting
period . The play equipment is a long term
goal and it will be necessary to retain
reserves until we can afford the project and
provide a facility that the entire community
can be proud of.

Reasons for holding zero
reserves
Para 1.22 N/A

The charity’s principal
sources of funds (including
any fundraising)
Para 1.47 Fundraising has been achieved by
operating a weekly market stall including
donations of unwanted goods from
individuals and families in Brandon and
neighbouring towns and villages in Norfolk
and Suffolk. This has accounted for £9.2k of
year 1 income. Local Clubs, businesses
and other individuals have been extremely
generous in their giving and without whom
we would not be anywhere near our current
fund raising levels. None of this would have
been possible without our volunteers.
Investment policy and
objectives including any
social investment policy
adopted
Para 1.46 All funds are held in a UK interest bearing
bank account.
A description of the principal
risks facing the charity
Para 1.46
Inflation is the biggest risk faced by our
charity as it will increase the time taken to
reach our objectives and slow grants to
other worthwhile causes in Norfolk and
Suffolk
