## Trustee’s Annual Report 

## Period: 1[st] November 2024 – 31[st] October 2025 

During this period, no changes to the Trustees were made. 

The Trust continues to receive regular donations, mainly from standing orders but from one donations as well. 

## Tram collection 

With regards to the Trust’s tram collection, due to the ongoing situation with the closure of Rigby Road depot in Blackpool by Blackpool Transport, no access to the trams for restoration work is permitted and therefore the situation remains unchanged. 

Brush car 634 is still in operation at East Anglia Transport Museum where their team ensure that the maintenance is carried out to a high standard. 

## Bus collection 

On the bus collection side, highlights are: 

- Fylde 47 was repainted back into the FBT “mustard band” livery 

- Blackpool Atlantean 362 was acquired by the Trust 

- Ribble 272 has now been fully acquired by the Trust (rather than on long term loan) 

- Blackpool Olympian 377 was acquired from NESALM as it had become surplus to their requirements. 

- Fylde 47 & 77 attended the Lytham Hall running day, the first time two Fylde Borough Transport “mustard” band buses have run in the town for many years. 

- Blackpool Atlantean 362 was used by the “Britains Got Talent” team during filming in Blackpool 

Several buses are away from base, some are at the Museum of Road Transport in St Helens, some at Ton & District Transport Trust in Gt Harwood. This enables more of our bus collection to be available for events in different areas. 

Notable contributions during this period are: 



- Sponsorship of commissioning work on various vehicles by ‘Replica Blinds by PWC’ and ‘Coastliner Buses’. 

Aims for the next period: 

- Continue the preventative maintenance of the bus collection 

- Repaints of other buses in the collection 

- Identify future preservation candidates which could be of interest to the FTT 

- Identify possible premises on the Fylde Coast for a FTT home.
