Period: 1st November 2022 - 31sI October 2023
Following from the conversion to CIO, the Trust's goals and ambitions have remained
the same as previously. During this period, some changes to the Trustees have been
made. A change to the Trustees has seen Matt Lodge has corne on board as a new
Trustee from the 15th November 2022. The previous chainnan of the trust, Mr,. Eric
Berry, sadly passed away during this period after a long illness. This has left
somewhat of a large hole in the Trust. as M. Berry was one of the founding members
and was the leading role in moving the Trust forward. The role of Chair has now been
taken on pemanently by Mr. Peter Wdtts
The previous issue of restricted access to the Trust's bank account following Mr.
Berry's passing has now been resolved. with two of the Trustees now having joint
aC￿sS to the accounts.
For the tram collection. points to note:
Work on recommissioning Coronation Tram 304 continued to the point of it
moving under its ovm power in the Rigby Road depot complex
Brush 621 is still available for operation with Blackpool Heritage Tram Tours
Brush 634 needs further work for recommissioning. The Trust is in discussions
with East Anglia TransF)Ort Museum with a view to have the remaining work
carried out there and let the tram be used on a short-temi loan, probably 5
years.
Balloon 703 was scheduled to be put through the workshops at Rigby Road for
a return to service. but due to the closure of the aforementioned workshops by
the ORR. this work was postponed.
The closure of Rigby Road paint, bcKly and fitting shops by the ORR has
considerably impacted our work on the Trusfs tram collection.
On the bus collection side. highlights are".
Fylde 77 was overhauled at Relian￿ Bus Works and now On￿ more has a
voSuntary dass V MOT
Blackpool 334 & Ribble 1805 are on ban to SL Helens Transport Museum and
are on public display

Notsble contributions during this period are-.
Sponsorship of commissioning work on 304 by Fylde Traway Society, Replica
Blinds by PWC and Coastliner Buses.
Aims for the next period..
Resolve the issues regarding aC￿sS and Work at Rigby Road depot
Cary out further preventative maintenance and voluntary class V MOTS on
some of our bus collection.
