We continue to see the fw being used, by the thurd). rnis￿n partneT5 and outside groups. &)me
events n¢N happen regula￿. There are the (hurth prwr meetings: the LMDCK dient (hristmas
meal; and another visit from our BMS link MissK)nary. We again hosted a NISCU prayer lunch, as well as the
summer olebratK)n forNISCU, attended bychristians from across the North Lancashire area.

We have seen a growth in the number of commutytygnws with other educational and tharttable purposes
using the various spa￿$ around our building theatre groups have begun to use the thurch space for
rehearsals, andthere are now regulardcEtrainingdasse5inthe hall. Two exerasegroups made upof members
of the lo(al Polish communty have begun. The bcal Christian Light and Lrfe mission has gro￿ and rK)w has

The management of our building comes under the Twstees, ￿ryth actswty led by Karl Wemer. buildings
manager. We increased our deanin8 provision thisyear in respo￿t0 the incTeased usage ofthe building.
Pastomlcare
We continue to try to care f￿ those connected to the dKtrth, alth(wgh thls is a thallen8e given the
situatlons that people are n. Thwe are werdl members th fvlfil responsibilities th as Communion for
thosettho are housebound: wsiting those not ab￿t0 gatherforvK)rship: and hospttal vislts. Housegrw)s are
also a key pla￿ for pastoral care and we are grateful to those who open their hc¥nes regularfy and prepare
stLKJies to share wrth other&
After havtngto reSp￿d to several paskna ylUatk￿ last ￿ar, it was d*ided to set up a pastoral
fund wf(hin the general account ￿ that we can reSp￿d more effeCtr￿￿. This has V￿rked well and we have
been able to support several crisis ytuatsns, one that VR made avrare of through our kxal primary
school. We also were able to make &fts at times of ￿lebr3t￿ffi, and to friends tonnected to the thurth, such
as one of ourfomier Capemwray students, vtho has started Theology stUd￿s at university.
Our monthly Communlon serkn at Woothlll House have continued and the relationship continues to be
strong. We are often invited to provided spiritual and pastordl care to resKlents, induding at times of end of
lrfe. This is a real priwle8e.
Misgon and Eva
Being concemed for. and hdpin& those in need is ￿ ey4resslon of our fatth. This year, we have further
developed our café provis￿ in the foler space, initialty (m Tuesday5, but now on Wednesdays. We provide
hot drinks, good baking arKI hot f￿d. Numbers are reascnable, and it has been good to see relationships
develop, especially with some people wk) started to ￿￿)r￿1P regularly with us The café is an area for
potential development in the coming year.

titles. to Sand￿and$ Sch(x)l a5 they rejuvwted their Sbrary. pastor helps wtth teathing of the ￿ligIon

of April 2024, is largety unthanged from the 2023 figure. This stabilty. despite the numerous calls on our
