We added several new layers of intrJyr¢tstion of The Cosmic House to CODtinu¢ to ￿U¢al¢ th¢ publi¢ on the polyphotty
ittherent in Post-modernisjns and contemporary Post-modern culture. Our projects were hosted in a nL2mb¢r of extemal
venyes, both tlwough stTategi¢ collaborations and r¢w¢$ts, higblaghting th¢ quality of wotk produ¢¢d.
'The Jencks Foundation rewopened The Cosmic House to the public in April 2023 with various projects that develop its
2023-24 resear¢h theme "1980 in Parallax" This included a new exhibition by Raqs Media Collective, alkd a new
5itethspec&fic exhibition by Madelon VrieSendo￿ (one of Charles Jencks, long terni collabordtors} which opened in
September 2023.
ltt addition to &xhibitions, we initiated a new editorial series on the theme of '1980 ill para]l&K' by globally recognised
academics Chronows of Architecture,, a ¢ollaboration with ¢-flux Architecture resulting in six new diaws inspir¢d by
Charles, Evolutionary Tre%5 of Architecture. the publication of Lev Brdtishenko's booklet ryl games you can play with &
Cosmi¢ Hous¢', and an artist book with Raqs Media Colle¢tive titled'The Bicyclist Who Fell into aTime Con¢,.

Pub]ic Visitors
The rtwnber of visitors to The Cosmic House is m8n2ged to ensure that the conditton of The Cosmi¢ Hts￿e and the archive
are preserved and to comply with planning permission requinients. The Cosmic House is opell to the public April
De¢¢mber, Wedne￿aY to Friday for two tours of up to 15 people. In addition, groups and invited guests ¢on visit the house
Monday and Tuesday afternoons and $¢holars are p¢nnitted to have access io the archive. Guided tours are held monthIy.
Visits to the house and archive aje very popular. all tickets releasrd to the public sold out within hour5 of release. and we
hold a waiting list for 8roup visits. In totsl The C05mic Holl5e welcomed over 38(N) visitors through the door. While accus
to the house is limited due tt) regulations set out in our OMP. w¢ have reached audiences through vayious other external
collaborations, media ¢overage and ow social media and llewslettEr.
]n th¢ peri(xl b¢tsYe¢ll April 2023-Mar¢h 2024 w¢ gained 3097 new followers on Instagrom. 250 new ftillowets on X
(Twttter) and 100 new follower5 on Facebook.

image5) and Compton Vemey (pl2sti¢ine models). Compton Verney gave all in-kind donation for th¢ conseryation work for
the models prior to the loan. The Archive has also supplied 15 images for use in publications. The archive catalogue has seen
over 1000 unique visitors, with visitors spending on avet2ge over 10 minute5 browsing the site.
Th¢ onlin¢ catslogue was illitially launched with a 5m811 sub-set of records relatin8 to the design of The C05miG House and

the senior monagement team operates within the scope of the powers delegated to it. The Chair ensures that there is also
robust debate at the board level, that provides constructive challenge to the Director, therthy ensuring that the Charity's atsns
ar¢ beingdeliv¢red. Actions of these meetillgs are minuted and regularly reviewed.
The Trustees have reviewed the public ben¢fit 8uidan¢e published by the Charity COm￿ls510￿. The activities undertak¢n by
the Jencks Foundation futther its ¢haritable purpos¢s for the public benefit ￿ several axea4 iti particular exhibitions. and
public pro￿￿eS.
The frllstees have examined the major risks whi¢h th¢ Chwity faces and confjmi there 1$ regular risk ¢valuation so that
necessary steps can be taken to lessen those risks. The Trustees revi¢w and discuss health safety issues at all meetings of
th¢ Board. Th¢ Tn￿le¢S h&ve identified the most significant risk &s contitwed wear and te￿ to the fabri¢ of The COS￿1¢
House, which is king addressed by the ￿nse￿tIOn management plan.
The Jenck5 Foundation is committed to paying staff fairly with a salary thai 1$ competitlve within the chaTiry Sector and is
proportionate to the complexity of earh role and Én line with the ch￿lty objectives. The TnLs¢ees give th¢ir time and
