**Charity’s Aim-** The Den provides high quality afternoon wraparound sessions for Nursery children aged 3 years and over. The Den operates within the Nursery classroom at Ysgol Deiniol and provides a happy, safe and stimulating environment providing lots of opportunities for learning experiences through play. 

## **Financial Summary-** 

**Opening Balance-** The opening balance brought forward at the start of the reporting period (1[st] September 2024) was: **£80,860.58** 

**Income Received-** During the reporting period (1[st] September 2024- 31[st] March 2025) the total income received amounted to **£25,235.50.**

The primary source of income during the period was grant and public funding, including contributions from the Welsh Government and WCBC, alongside income generated through sessions booked.

## **Closing Balance** 

At the end of the reporting period (1[st] September 2024- 31[st] March 2025) the closing balance carried forward is **£80.976.70** 

The Den for the reporting period (1[st] September 2024-31[st] March 2025) has increased its balance by £116.12. Numbers are set to rise in the next academic year, supporting the future sustainability of the organisation and its activities.
