**During the year FOIRS has started a**
**process of applying for Funds (including**

**commission a report from a suitable Firm**
**of Consultants to create a solution for a**
**Transport Hub.**
**Year 2025 is the 160th Birthday for Ilkley**
**Rail Station. Work has started for an**
**Exhibition to be held in August 2025. This**
**includes 5 Information Boards depicting**
**the History of Ilkley Station.**
**FOIRS has adopted an area of land to**
**“green space” at the foot of the steps**
**from the Ilkley Rail Station Footbridge.**
**In addition to seeking sponsors to**
**develop the site, FOIRS is also looking at**
**the possibility of applying for a Lottery**
**Grant to fund the initial work required**
**and also to pay for maintenance of the**
**site for at least five years.**
**On a festive note, FOIRS has once again**
**purchased a Xmas Tree at the Annual St**
