FOIRS has instigated an Annual Winter “Music on The Station” event where funds are collected for a nominated charity (CandleLighters in 2022). FOIRS has arranged the manufacture of five large Planters which have been filled by pupils and teachers from five local Junior Schools. FOIRS has produced, published and circulated a Station Development Plan. |

Para 1.20 | FOIRS has instigated an Annual Winter “Music on The Station” event where funds are collected for a nominated charity (CandleLighters in 2022). FOIRS has arranged the manufacture of five large Planters which have been filled by pupils and teachers from five local Junior Schools. These planters have enhanced the outlook of the Station, and the “Opening Ceremony” hosted by Alan Titchmarsh bought welcome publicity to advertise the activities of FOIRS. With regard to the future, FOIRS is actively involved in forming an Ilkley Rail and Bus and Station Board with Northern Rail, Network Rail, West Yorkshire Combined Authority and Ilkley Council. |
