The charity’s main activities are to organise events and activities such as fetes, cake sales, quiz evenings, children’s discos and book sales in order to: • raise funds for the School, contributing to resources that benefit the experience, attainment and progress of pupils; • boost the wellbeing of pupils who attend the School, looking to have an impact on their social, emotional, physical and mental health; • promote and enhance the profile of the School within the local area; and • provide opportunities for parents and carers to meet each other and engage with the School. |

Para 1.20 | Following almost a year hiatus of activity, following the covid-19 pandemic, including restrictions and lockdowns, Friends of Woodford Green Primary School, following registration as a CIO at the start of the academic year, held a very successful Christmas Fair, followed by a number of subsequent events throughout the year. These events enabled the charity to raise funds to build sufficient reserves in order to continue operations, and build up funds to support the school. Following the year end, the Trustees plan to identify and fund resources that will benefit the school and its pupils. |
