The QEGSA<br>Committee, supported by the Class<br>representatives, have been working very hard to<br>achieve our goals for the benefit of our whole<br>school community.<br>QEGSA activities in this second year have<br>included:<br>●<br>Christmas 2023 fundraising_via_an<br>Auction of Promises, which relied on the<br>goodwill of our parent community to<br>donate experiences and gifts for auction,<br>supplemented by our local and extended<br>London network of business supporters<br>who donated experiences and services.<br>●<br>Promoting donations to QEGSA<br>directly and indirectly through a<br>fundraising website.<br>●<br>Liaising with our school to determine<br>a larger fundraising target after our initial<br>goal of purchasing picnic benches for the<br>pupils was achieved.<br>●<br>Organising a series of leadership<br>events and after-school talks by|





|||inspirational speakers from various<br>industries. This year, we have arranged<br>fantastic talks by our parent community<br>and extended network in the fields of<br>finance, law, project management and<br>publishing, with exciting opportunities for<br>the pupils to listen to senior leaders, ask<br>questions and consider their options for<br>career pathways.<br>●<br>Supporting the school in competition<br>research, careers, gathering of work<br>experience placements and University<br>events.<br>●<br>Hosting a Summer Fair 2024 which<br>was a wonderful opportunity for our<br>pupils to showcase their incredible<br>entrepreneurial skills - running stalls of<br>every variety - and their enormous range<br>of talents. Our pupils, parents and<br>teachers came together to enjoy the<br>school grounds, with a picnic buffet,<br>tombola and hamper raffles adding to the<br>fun.<br>As before, our Committee meetings took place<br>once every half-term and Class reps were invited<br>to attend. The Class rep system continues to<br>create opportunities for discussion and<br>communications between parents. Information<br>has been circulated by the Committee. Parents<br>have engaged and formed support networks,<br>which have benefited the girls and the wider<br>parent community.<br>An AGM date has been set for October 2024 in<br>order to present the activities of the previous<br>academic year and to discuss future plans and<br>improvements for the next year.|
