Structure, Govemance and Management
The governing document is The Harrison Ballanlyne Foundation IHBFI charitab￿ Incorporated
Organisalion ICIOI Constitution adopted on 15 July 2021, which became recognised by the Charity
Commission when Ihe CIO was regislered on 16 December 2021.
The Conslilulion defines the ongoing arrangèments fr*r the Trustees lo run HBF CIO. Up to ￿e1ve
Trusiees can be diredy el￿￿ed under the Conslilulion ol H8F CIO al each Annual General Meeting.
The recruilmenl and training ol the new Tnjslees, if successfully elected, is ¢onducte(I by the existing
Twstees.

The charity continues it's educahonal polry by using the story ol Harrison Ballantyne and how he died.
There has been public, social media and television campaigns, using the rail Industry's produced film
about Harnson. which is eontinuing to help prevent Irospass on rai￿¥ay$ and the surrounding areas.
A separate film created to use within Ihe rail indusiry, is also raising awareness of Harrison's story and
encourages people working in the industry to be min¢Jful ol how to keep the areas Ihey are responsible
for. safe.
Plans for Future Year3
The charity plans lo continue lo grow Iheir'Rail Sale Friendly" iniliaisve working alongside Ihe whole
UK Rail industry lo achieve this goal, both inside the Rail Industry and also in our UK schwls.

Financial Results for the Period
The chanty has generated a total of £6,419 of reserves from both lundraising and the receipt of
donatson8 during the period.
