**Objects:** THE OBJECTS OF THE FORD TO HUNSTON CANAL SOCIETY CHARITABLE INCORPORATED ORGANISATION ARE: (1) TO PROMOTE FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC THE PRESERVATION, RESTORATION, IMPROVEMENT, ENHANCEMENT, AND MAINTENANCE OF THE HISTORICAL AND ARCHITECTURAL HERITAGE OF THE PORTSMOUTH & ARUNDEL CANAL WITHIN THE CHICHESTER AND ARUN DISTRICTS OF WEST SUSSEX, BETWEEN FORD AND HUNSTON, INCLUDING THE BURNDELL BRIDGE.(2) TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC IN THE HISTORY AND ARCHITECTURE OF THE HERITAGE OF THE PORTSMOUTH & ARUNDEL CANAL, BETWEEN FORD AND HUNSTON, WORKING WITH EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS TO ENHANCE KNOWLEDGE IN THE HISTORY OF THE CANAL HERITAGE ALONG THIS SECTION OF THE CANAL.

**Activities:** The Ford to Hunston Canal Society seeks to promote for the benefit of the public the improvement and maintenance of the heritage of the Ford to Hunston section of the Portsmouth & Arundel Canal, in the Chichester and Arun Districts of West Sussex, as well as advancing the education of the public in these areas on history and architecture of the Canal.
