To promote for the benefit of the public the conservation and restoration of the wildlife and wildlife habitats of Otley and surrounding area, in addition to progressing Otley's nature recovery plan.To advance the education and appreciation of the public regarding the conservation, protection and improvement of the physical and natural environment.

Objects: The Objects Of The CIO Are:(1) To Promote For The Benefit Of The Public The Conservation Of The Wildlife And Wildlife Habitats And Protection And Improvement Of The Physical And Natural Environment Of Otley And The Surrounding Area.(2) To Advance The Education And Appreciation Of The Public Regarding The Conservation, Protection And Improvement Of The Physical And Natural Environment.
