Rise kids cio was formed in 2017 to help children based in North Kensington after the impact of the traumatic Grenfell tower fire. We were first formed as a CIC but changed during the covid pandemic in 2021 .

The charity consists of trustees named below EUNICIA HARDING PAUL JULIEN CHARLINE THOMPSON EMMALUNA BOULTING JAMAL WILLIAMS KUSHEEMA NURSE

And we are recruiting 2 new young trustees who have used our service and are now over the age of 18.

As Trustees we sit at the End of Each month as a collective but have a trustees meeting Every 3 Months to discuss the large processes that take place of Rise kids

The structure of governors are to work as a team And to deliver a safe space for activities and workshops for staff members and children and families, Who attend Rise kids projects we make key decisions and make sure all safe guarding and insurance policies and risk assessments are up to date . And as Trustees we review activities and see how we can always enhance programmes and work with what benefits our charity and families by providing support and activities

that develop their skills & needs that capacities and brings capabilities to assist thier growth at all times .

Advice and care is always given as support and we will always refer to third parties if its out of our scope as we work with so many departments in rbkc. From housing mental health Nd social services .

Our principal objective and key outlines are to benefit the children of North Kensington aged 7-11 & their families who are registered residents of North Kensington who where affected by the Grenfell tower fire in June 2017. But we are open to all families in North Kensington and practice no limitations as long as you are a resident .

The public benefits of Rise kids cio Is to promote social inclusion and help to advance in life and relieve the needs of children aged 7-11 and their families through the provision of recreational and leisure time activities which help promote their social welfare which is really designed to promote healthy well-being and conditions in life . From 14/12/21- 13/7/24, As Trustees we have aimed to achieve this by working with families to achieve wonderful support from

a weekly food bank from supported by the Felix Trust, After School clubs and half terms supported by the HAF programme for Kensington & Chelsea and Westminster and Hammersmith & Fulham to support local children with activities and a healthy meal when children are out of school, we have visited museums and theme parks and worked with other 3rd parties sectors during the months outlined above from Art projects referring to the Grenfell wellbeing service at the NHS, social services and other CIC companies .
