Football Rising was registered on 14 December 2021 – this Annual Accounts and Trustees’ Annual Report ( the Report ) is for the period from the last annual report to 30 June 2025 . In pursuing its work, the trustees of Football Rising have had regard to guidance issued by the Charity Commission. The object of Football Rising, as set out in its Cons6tu6on, is to promote equality and diversity for the public benefit by suppor6ng female athletes and spor6ng leaders in marginalised and excluded regions to realise their full poten6al and be excep6onal and inspira6onal on and off the field. In doing so, we pursue strategies including:

Uni6ng pioneering football organisa6ons in marginalised football regions to exchange and build solidarity;

Connec6ng global funding with local exper6se to deliver projects designed by and for athletes and leaders to strengthen football, educa6on and leadership; and

Crea6ng professional and inspira6onal media content to amplify posi6ve stories of athletes and spor6ng leaders.
Regre\ably, since the last annual report, Football Rising has faced challenges undertaking its ac6vi6es due to limited resources and challenges faced by its trustees. As such, it has been in a period of temporary dormancy while the trustees consider the way forward. Considera6on is being given to winding up the organisa6on.
Trustees
On establishment, Football Rising had four trustees. At the inaugural trustee mee6ng of, an addi6onal trustee was appointed by unanimous resolu6on, having regard to the skills, knowledge and experience needed for Football Rising’s effec6ve administra6on. The trustees are below.

In the repor6ng period, Football Rising has received no income, incurred no expenditure and, as at 30 June 2025, had a balance of zero.
work of our partner organisa6ons, the trustees are not concerned by the present financial posi6on and do not believe there are any uncertain6es about Football Rising con6nuing as a going concern. The trustees have previously pursued philanthropic and commercial support for Football Rising. Football Rising has to date received extensive pro bono support from Clifford Chance LLP (legal) and 17 Sport (consultancy).
Football Rising’s primary asset is its intellectual property. Details of its intellectual property are set out in prior annual reports.
