HCBM is a Faith based organization which has the Bible as our Principal guide in everything we do. The body of believers are built and empowered through the Holy Scriptures. We welcome all.

We also engage with the Community by providing emotional support for people who are going through challenging issues. We are involved with the Youth and create activities to occupy them and stir them towards the right direction. We have been engaging more with the community and hope it continues and grow better. We have been creative how we engage with the community.

Here are some of the achievements we made.

  1. We Have supported about 500 people to find themselves, enjoy peace of mind, strength and courage to move on with life in on positive way through counselling and coaching. We have also organized empowering events which are gender centered to tackle direct issues that relate to the male or relate to the female. We involve the community by doing a survey to find out what their challenges are and then conduct events which are tailored to address those issues.

  2. We have given music lessons to about 50 youths, adding to their skills

  3. We have given bible lessons to Youth with the aim of building Character in them and bringing the right guidance and direction towards their future. Open Forums are held for questions to be asked and for the Youth to discuss current challenges the Youth are facing. We also organize quiz events with a reward handed to the winner, which encourages them to study and stay focused.

  4. We have introduced a dancing club for our youth, which has helped a lot of them tremendously and is growing better and better.

  5. In the course of the Winter we introduced the soup Kitchen in which we were serving the homeless with hot soup every Friday and organized a Christmas party for them, we have since then carried on to feed them however we are not now cooking different dishes and members are taking turn to cook.

We continue to work as a team and to support the vision and the good work we are doing in society. At this stage no major fund raising or grants to report. We will in the future for the new projects we are developing. We have had very committed Volunteers who have been very productive with their skills in helping achieve our goals. We only had to provide transport and food for them. This has come mainly from contributions from members.
