Lowdham FLAG has had a successful year In 2024125.

The Flood Actlon group presentèd a plan to varlous
Risk Managoment Authorltles at County Hall for

lead to FLAG belng Indemnlfied for actions taken
durlng a futur• fl¢)od that aro conslstent wlth tho
agreed plan.
We have leased a flood prodiction tool called SCALGO
whlch we are uslng to test our plan and also to allow
us to make more Inslghfful comments about future
housing development plans by Langrldge Homes on
land that could Impact floodlng.

volunteors willng to man an HQ, and we have now over
20 residents trained (via NCC training courses) as
flood wardens and able to deploy road slgnag• durlng
a flood.

Volunteers have come forward to asslst FLAG
members with repairs to the spill weir, and with the
removal of blockages in Cocker Beck.
The excellent relatlonshlp wlth VIA East Mldlands ha$
