Brief statement of the charity’s policy on reserves

DURING THE YEAR, THE CHARITY SECURED INCOME OF £95,780 MAINLY BEING GENERAL DONATIONS AND HAD EXPENDITURE OF £180,665 WHICH WAS MAINLY FOR PROPERTY COSTS AND REPAYMENTS OF INTEREST FREE LOANS. THE TRUSTEES ACQUIRED INTEREST-FREE LOANS DURING THE PERIOD TO HELP WITH OPERATIONAL COSTS AND TO REPAY CREDITORS AND AT THE END OF THE PERIOD THE CHARITY HAD £425,000 WORTH OF ASSETS RETAINED FOR THE CHARITY USE. DURING THE PERIOD, THE CHARITY GENERATED A SURPLUS (NET OF LOANS TAKEN AND REPAID) OF £940 WHICH WAS RETAINED MAINLY FOR FUTURE CHARITABLE PROJECTS AND TO REPAY THE INTERESTFREE LOANS. THE RESERVES OF THE CHARITY (NET OF ASSETS AND LIABILITIES) WERE £12,417 AT YEAR END. THE POLICY OF THE TRUSTEES IS NOT TO HOLD ANY RESERVES BUT TO USE ANY SURPLUS OR RESERVES FOR FUTURE CHARITABLE EXPENDITURE AND PAYMENTS TO CREDITORS.
