(1) TO RELIEVE FINANCIAL HARDSHIP AMONG POOR PEOPLE AND OTHER PEOPLE IN NEED BY MEANS OF, BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY, MAKING GRANTS FOR PROVIDING OR PAYING FOR ITEMS, EQUIPMENT, SERVICES AND FACILITIES, INCLUDING THE PROVISION OF FOOD, WATER AND COSTS FOR MEDICAL TREATMENT FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE SAID PERSONS; (2) TO ADVANCE THE RELIGION OF ISLAM BY MEANS OF, BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY, PROVISION OR ASSISTANCE IN THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES FOR ISLAMIC EDUCATION, IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE TEACHINGS OF THE QURAN AND THE TEACHINGS OF PROPHET MUHAMMAD (PBUH) AS INTERPRETED AND ACCEPTED BY THE AHLE-SUNNAH WAL-JAMAA-AH SCHOOL OF THOUGHT.

DURING THE YEAR, THE CHARITY DELIVERED SEVERAL PROJECTS TO SUPPRT THE NEEDY IN PAKISTAN. OVER 150 FAMILIES WERE SUPPORTED WITH FOOD PACKS EVERY MONTH. 20 POOR WOMEN WERE SUPPORTED WITH SEWING MACHINE GRANTS TO ESTABLISH A LIVELIHOOD AND 19 HANDPUMPS WERE INSTALLED IN POOR PEOPLE AREAS BENEFITTING THE LOCAL COMMUNITIES WITH CLEAN WATER.THE TRUSTEES HAVE HAD DUE REGARD TO THE GUIDANCE ISSUED BY THE CHARITY COMMISSION ON PUBLIC BENEFIT AND ARE SATISFIED THAT THEY ARE ADVANCING EDUCATION AND RELIEVING FINANCIAL HARDSHIP FOR PUBLIC BENEFIT.

DURING THE YEAR, THE CHARITY DELIVERED SEVERAL Summary of the main PROJECTS TO SUPPRT THE NEEDY IN PAKISTAN. OVER 150 achievements of the charity FAMILIES WERE SUPPORTED WITH FOOD PACKS EVERY MONTH. during the year 20 POOR WOMEN WERE SUPPORTED WITH SEWING MACHINE GRANTS TO ESTABLISH A LIVELIHOOD AND 19 HANDPUMPS WERE INSTALLED IN POOR PEOPLE AREAS BENEFITTING THE LOCAL COMMUNITIES WITH CLEAN WATER.

DURING THE YEAR, THE CHARITY SECURED £10,449 IN GENERAL Brief statement of the DONATIONS AND HAD EXPENDITURE OF £9,350 WHICH WAS charity’s policy on reserves MAINLY FOR CHARITABLE ACTIVITIES. THIS GENERATED A SURPLUS WHICH WAS RETAINED MAINLY FOR FUTURE CHARITABLE PROJECTS. THE RESERVES OF THE CHARITY WERE £1,099 AT YEAR END. THE POLICY OF THE TRUSTEES IS NOT TO HOLD ANY RESERVES BUT TO USE ANY SURPLUS OR RESERVES FOR FUTURE CHARITABLE EXPENDITURE.
