In 2023 the Trustees had a meeting and it was decided to upgrade some of the animal cages and units that needed quite a lot of repairs.
So we had various workmen on site to do the work which was quite extensive. Some of the buildings needed new roofs put on them and another large main building had to have the back completely renewed as well as some of the other buildings (all are wood) had panels that needed renewing completely.
We also had some tree surgery that needed doing as it is in a wooded area. Several trees had to come down as they were dangerous. We had the tree surgeons advise on what needed to be done.
We are in a healthy position financially at the end of 2023.
