We also**<br>**support a local food pantry: we**<br>**have sourced accommodation for**<br>**it and assist with publicity and**<br>**referrals.**<br>**2.**<br>**The Charity operates a weekly**<br>**Community Café (see above). This**<br>**reduces food waste and benefits**<br>**the environment since the meals**<br>**are manly created from donated**<br>**food that would otherwise have**<br>**gone to waste. 50-60 local people**<br>**attend and receive a nourishing 3**<br>**course meal cooked from scratch**<br>**by our volunteers. Donated food**<br>**not used for the meal is taken**<br>**home by attendees. The Café**<br>**reduces food poverty as no charge**<br>**is made for the meal or food taken**|

||**reporting year. Volunteers have**|
||**regular face to face contact with**|
||**clients either at their homes or at a**|

||**Where possible we facilitate their**|
||**introduction to social groups**|
||**where they can make friends.**|
|**4.**|**We also hold, or are involved in, a**|
||**number of coffee mornings held at**|
||**local venues (such as a sheltered**|
||**accommodation complex in**|
||**Tarleton) where older people can**|
||**socialise. Those who are lonely or**|
||**socially isolated are supported to**|
||**attend by our volunteers, who**|
||**often bring then to and from the**|
||**venue.**|
|**5.**|**We operate two weekly Dementia-**|
||**friendly music, movement and**|
||**social group for people with**|
||**cognitive impairment and their**|
||**carers. Again, people with mobility**|
||**issues or who are lonely or**|
||**socially isolated have been**|

||**attending greatly, as excellent**|
||**feedback shows.**|
