Bridgend Inclusive Network Group (BING) is a new and exciting social enterprise that supports the Bridgend Inclusive Community. All our volunteers have a variety of personal experiences, expertise, and indepth knowledge of the voluntary sector such as charities, community groups, sports clubs and not for profit organisations in which we want to share.

TO PROMOTE FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE INHABITANTS (INCLUDING THEIR IMMEDIATE FAMILIES/CARERS) OF BRIDGEND AND THE SURROUNDING AREA WHO ARE IMPACTED BY DISABILITY THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES FOR RECREATION OR OTHER LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION OF INDIVIDUALS, THROUGH THEIR LOCAL VOLUNTARY ORGANISATIONS, WHO HAVE NEED OF SUCH FACILITIES BY REASON OF THEIR EXPERIENCE OF OR ASSOCIATION WITH DISABLEMENT IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE AND WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THE CONDITION OF LIFE OF THE SAID INHABITANTS.

Summary of the main achievements of the charity during the year

We are now 1.5 years in from starting the charity, where we have raised our profile around Bridgend. We now have regular not for profit groups who attend our meetings as well as events that we have put on.

We are extremely fortunate to have amazing volunteers and members of the community with a passion to help others no matter what their circumstances.

We have put on family fun days, gala dinners, training sessions, conferences and community fun days which has allowed the local communities, groups and organisations to come together and has provided a networking opportunity for people.

Section E Financial review

As an organisation we aspire to hold at least three-months operating Brief statement of the costs in reserves. These will ensure that the overheads can continue to charity’s policy on reserves be met for several months even if there is a substantial drop in donations. Restricted reserves are maintained for expenditure, at the discretion of the Trustees, on such projects that further the objectives and activities of the charity.
