Section D Achievements and performance

Summary of the main achievements of the charity during the year

We are now 1.5 years in from starting the charity, where we have raised our profile around Bridgend. We now have regular not for profit groups who attend our meetings as well as events that we have put on.

We are extremely fortunate to have amazing volunteers and members of the community with a passion to help others no matter what their circumstances.

We have put on family fun days, gala dinners, training sessions, conferences and community fun days which has allowed the local communities, groups and organisations to come together and has provided a networking opportunity for people.

Section E Financial review

Brief statement of the charity’s policy on reserves

As an organisation we aspire to hold at least three-months operating costs in reserves. These will ensure that the overheads can continue to be met for several months even if there is a substantial drop in donations. Restricted reserves are maintained for expenditure, at the discretion of the Trustees, on such projects that further the objectives and activities of the charity.
