During the twelve months June 22 to June 23, we have : a) cleared the woodland back 2m from the kerb to create a verge corridor. This vastly improves the safety of the road that borders the Wood. b) Set in motion a project to install Information signs to show the wood is open as an amenity for the community. c) Obtained funding , planned and initiated 2 new entrance paths into the wood – to improve access for all ( complete in 2023/24) d) Held two Community gatherings – litter picks: establishing templates for the future. e) Opened a Face book page. A Web site is planned – finalise in 2023/24. f) Continued with thinning the undergrowth to improve the openness of the woodland for increase in biodiversity and security of all users. |

Para 1.21 | The Trustees have reviewed the income, expenses incurred and projected liabilities for the year 2022/23. We have also reconciled known future incomes and know liabilities. All these are outweighed by cash at the bank. The Trustees have therefore approved the continuation of the program for the next financial year ( 2023/24) with quarterly evaluations. |

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Friends of College Wood is an organized charity currently existing under the UK laws. The Chairman Of our Team is Andrew Malloy who has many years’ experiences as a Town Councilor in Knutsford.
Friends of College Wood was established in 2021 and obtained registration as a CIO in
The purpose of the FoCW is to ensure and protect the future of the College Wood amenity for the
benefit of the community and the resident wildlife.
As of the 2022/23-year end (1[st] June 2023) we have closed our initial project (partial clearance of undergrowth of the wood), completed 2 phases of a 4-stage project to clear the verge of the wood, and raised the funds and started a project to improve signage to the wood.
For our 2023/24 year we have a pipeline of new projects to take us forward. These include improving entrances to the wood, establishing a rest/ educational area and further improvements to signage.
We also have a program of planned and ongoing maintenance of the verge and undergrowth.
In the following year-end financial report, you will find an insight into Friends of College Wood current financial position.

CONCLUSIONS
After presenting the related data on Friends of College Wood income, expenses incurred and projected liabilities, for the year June 2022 to June 2023, and reconciling Known future liabilities and projected incomes we are confident that the organization is in sound financial health. Expenditure to date and known liabilities are outweighed by the cash at the bank.
Accordingly, The Trustees have hereby approved the continuation of the program into the next fiscal year (2023/2024), with evaluations to be held on a quarterly basis.
