OBJECTIVES AND ACTIVITIES

a. To promote for the benefit of the public the conservation, protection and improvement of the physical and natural environment and biodiversity of College Wood, Knutsford and to encourage others to engage with, understand, enjoy, protect and enhance the woodland habitat

b. In pursuance of the above, to advance the education of the public.
Summary of the main activities in relation to those purposes for the public benefit, in particular, the activities, projects or services identified in the accounts.
During the past 12 months we have had to fell a number of dangerous trees and storm damage has removed and damaged mature trees. We have opened up the Woods to improve surveillance, deterred anti social elements and encouraged local residents to enter and enjoy the amenity.

The main achievements of the charity in the period have been the in establishing a regime for the maintenance and care of the trees and facilitating and encouraging public access to the Woods.

The charity has obtained limited grant funding for tree care and new signage. We continually seek new funding sources to further our aims.
