SORP reference
| Summary of the main achievements of the charity, identifying the difference the charity’s work has made to the circumstances of its beneficiaries and any wider benefits to society as a whole. |
Para 1.20 | The charity put on its regular calendar of events. The events allowed the members of a relatively small diaspora to maintain its community spirit and reminded said members of our shared history and culture. The charities in the UK and India (primarily the Trussell Trust, Refugee Community Kitchen) benefited from the money we raised at our events, and the Shri Chitrapur Math benefited from our remittances, which it put towards various causes reported to members at subsequent AGMs. |
