It was self-financing with<br>members paying £20.<br>**Charity walk**, June 2022 A 5km walk that<br>took place in the Regent’s Park to raise<br>money for the Educational and Vocational<br>Centre for the Handicapped in Virar Mumbai.<br>**Konkarnival**, July 2022: An annual market-<br>stall event in which funds were raised for two<br>causes: the Trussell Trust (based in the UK)<br>and the Saraswat Education Society (based|

## **Financial Review**

Review of the charity’s  Para 1.21  Our main source of funds in FY2022 has<br>financial position at the end  been membership fees, donations and<br>of the period  entrance and activity fees for participants in<br>the CSS UK events.  We use the entrance<br>fees and general funds to subsidise event<br>costs and hold a small, restricted fund to<br>subsidise future activity costs.<br>Most of the entrance and activity fees is<br>applied to running the events and making<br>donations. With the main costs incurred<br>being cost of activities, food costs and<br>donations.<br>In FY2022, CSS UK collected £9,437 from<br>entrance fees, membership donations for<br>from charity walk, charity hike, Diwali, and<br>Konkarnival events. £8,325 was paid<br>towards running these events and donations<br>to various charitable causes.
