We meet most Sundays in Yateley Manor
School Hall as well as running specific
events for Adums, Youth and Kids. In
addition, we have Small Groups that meet
in the homes of members of our Church
8nd we provide f￿e access to Right N¢xv
Media where people can source teachings
and trainings led by worfd class Christian
Experts. We actively encourage anyone
from our Community, to participate in all
activities.

In 2023 our resources were split 50.'50
between the two main activity areas listed
above. A summary of the most important
ones follow:

We provided significant financial, hands on
and prayer support to more than 10
Intemational and local charities
International - Compassion (child
poverty), Samaritan's Purse (disaster
reliefj arKI Turkey-syria Earthquake
Appeal.
Local - Yateley Panty (social welfare
and foodbank in Yateley), Yeldall Manor
(drug and alcohol rehabilitation centre in
Reading), Youth for Christ (outreach to
youth and schools in Camberley), Wision
for Youth (youth ¢lub in Yateley). Ezra
(homeless in Camberley), Frogmore
(children educational needs in Yaleley).

vouchers for families struggling

a number of spiritual, training and soGial

1. Women
We offer a spread of events through
year each with a specific purpose..
Our House Church women. We provide
cyportunrties for women actively
involved in our church to connect, build
relationships, support one another and
promote spiritual grovhh.
In September, y￿ held a ladie$ event at
Oakwood Climbing Centre in
WO￿nghaM. This was a retr8at for
woman in our church to have a day and
night away listening to testimonies and
worshiping together. Around 20 women
attended. All costs covered by the
tickets and th8 profrt donated to
Oakwood Charitable Trust.

testimonies on the impact that their faith
has had on their lives.
In June, we hosted 'Beauty from
Ashes,. aftemoon tea wth a highly
engaging speaker Sarah Seldon. The
cost for this event was covered in the
ticket pri￿. Around 35 women attended,
with around 500h being non<hur¢h
memt*rs.

their guests that provide an opportunity
to raise funds and awareness of local
charities and their needs.
In March we held a Well Woman Day
with gu6St speakers discussing health
subjects like menopause, ￿east heatth
and g8n8ral well-being. The ticket profft
from this event wa$ donated to
Menopause Support CIC and
Breaslcancer Now. 65 women
attended, ￿ryth around 60% being non-
thurch memb8rs.
In November, we held a Christmas craft
and Gharity event at Yateley Industries.
Christmas bottle decorations vRre made
whilst raising funds for Yateley
Industries Charrty. Of the 40 women
attendees around 50% were nonrfhurch
members.
2. M8n
We meet for breakfast on the first Saturday
of every month and run various social
events such as snooker and ten-pin
bowling to build relationships, support one
another and to discuss spiritual and topical
subjects relevant to men.
l+Ve again hosted our annual Weekend
Away at Sandyholme (YMCA), Studland,
attended by 22 men split equ8lly be￿een
church and non-¢hurch goers. Major
General {Retired} Tirn Cross spoke on
'Morally Courageous Lèadership"
challenging men to consider their personal
morals and have the courage to change.
In October, well known speaker and author
of th8 book"Thief, Prisoner, Soklier,
Pfiest.. Paul Cowley, spoke M hi8 dramatic
life exFeriences in his pursurt of freedom
from crime. The event was free of char e

and attended by 40 men from our
community most of whom do not go to
church.
The Mens, Ministy focused on building
relationships and making a drfference will
be even more important in these uncertain
times and unexpected Ghallenges.
3. Youth
We run Iwo learning groups for chihyren
that take place during each Sunday service
for one hour. Our younger children aged 3-
7 years attend the "The Den. and our older
children aged 8-12 years attend 'The
Cabin.. Each group have a dedicated
room in which they meet. Both groups have
mix of indoor and OLrtdoor aclivities.
We aim to provide a nurturing and
engaging environment through scripture.

understanding of God's love, develop a
personal relationship with Jesus, and live
out their faith through practical examples of
service. kindness, and compassion.
We aim to create 8 welcoming, safe and
inclusive space for every child in our care
and encourage empathy and respect
regardless of differences, backgrounds, or
special requirements for leaming where
they feel loved, valued, and equipped to
live as disciples of our Lord Jesus,
impa¢ting their families. friends, and their
neighbourhood with His love.
Other
We host social events (eg. Open Mic
Nights) for the communty to build
relationships and provide an affordable
time oui together.
We provided support to social YRlfare
initiatives at Christma8.
Crisis at Christmas (financial support to the
homeless in London).
Christmas food boxes (we purchased,
packed and delivered 25 food hampers to
Share the love of Jesus with Blruggling
families in Yateley.
Our Pastor, Dave l•Wheeldon, meets
regularly ¥Mth the leaders of other local
churches in Yateley lo share ideas and find
ways to work effectively together for the
good of our communty.

Vhilst still a relatively smai church (cir¢a
50 members) Our House Yateley has and

on the lives of peoFl8 in our communty

church or not. We are recognised as a
place where people feel welcome, loved
and cared fw and our reputation in our
community as a church that makes a

to go even further in 2024.
