||||||and promote<br>spiritual<br>growth.||

||||||the opportunity<br>to invite friends and||
||||||neighbours.<br>Often, these events<br>will include||
||||||guest speakers who may share personal||
||||||testimonies<br>or life events to further the||
||||||Kingdom ofGod.||
||||||The remaining<br>two events are aimed||
||||||primarily<br>at serving<br>our community.<br>These||
||||||provide an opportunity<br>to raise funds, and||
||||||awareness,<br>oflocal charities and their||
||||||needs.||
||||||~<br>In January<br>we held a ladies night away,||
||||||at Oakwood<br>Climbing<br>Centre in||
||||||Wokingham<br>Our auest speaker<br>rwes life||
||||||coach, Sarah Ensor who spoke on||
||||||"Finding Our Identity<br>in Christ". The||
||||||weekend<br>was a great opportunity<br>to||
||||||connect, support<br>and build stronger||
||||||relationshi<br>s whilst<br>rowin<br>dee erin||





||our faith. This was partially<br>subsidised|our faith. This was partially<br>subsidised|

||by Our House Church to make<br>it||
||affordable for everyone<br>who wanted|to|
||come. Around 20 women attended.||
|~|In June, we held a charity "Pop-up||
||Fashion Sale" at Yateley Industries.|The|
||purpose was to raise money, awareness||
||and support for the Community<br>Food||
||Pantry which operates from there. From||
||there we were also able to provide||
||some clothing donations<br>to local||
||refugees from the Ukraine.||
|~|September saw a ladies breakfast||
||event, held at Bistro 19in Yateley. Our||
||guest speaker was Kirsty Allerton<br>who||
||gave an uplifting<br>testimony<br>on her walk||
||with God. 35women attended<br>with over||
||50%being from outside the church.||
|~|In November,<br>we held a Christmas<br>craft||
||and charity event at Yateley Manor||
||School. Christmas<br>tree decorations||
||were made whilst raising funds to buy||
||warm hats, gloves and hot water bottles||
||to be freely given out at the Yateley||
||Community<br>Pantry. We also had the||
||CEO ofthis charity share what<br>it does||
||and the importance<br>ofthe Community||
||Pantry<br>in the present economic climate.||
||Around 40 women attended,<br>again with||
||around 50% being non church||
||members.||
||2.<br>Men||
|We meet for breakfast on the first Saturday|||
|of|every month<br>and run various social||
|events such as snooker, ten-pin<br>bowling to|||
|build relationships,<br>support one another|||
|and to discuss spiritual<br>and topical subjects|||
|relevant to men.<br>Our main event ofthe|||
|year was our annual<br>Weekend<br>Away at|||
|Sandyholme<br>(YMCA), Studland,<br>attended|||
|by|18 men split equally between<br>church||
|and non-church<br>goers.<br>Two outside|||
|speakers<br>inspired<br>the men on a theme of|||
|"Keeping Going When The Going Gets|||
|Tough" relating<br>their experiences<br>sailing|||
|the|Trans-Atlantic,<br>walking the Camino de||
|Santiago,<br>running<br>the Marathon<br>des Sables|||
|and|running<br>up Mont Blanc.<br>Following<br>its||
|success our 2023 event is over-subscribed.|||
|The Mens' Ministry focused on building|||
|relationships<br>and making a difference<br>will|||
|be even more important<br>in these uncertain|||
|times and unexpected<br>challenges.|||
||3. Youth||
|We|have two children's<br>groups that are||
|held|each Sunday<br>morning,<br>in classrooms||





|where Our House Church meets. The|
|---|
|sessions are an hour long. The younger|
|group (age 3-7)is called 'The Den' and the|
|other group (age 8-12)is called 'The|
|Cabin'. The aim each week is to teach the|
|children<br>about Jesus through<br>fun activities,|
|stories and crafts. Also teaching the values|
|of love, support and patience<br>with one|
|another.|
|Other|
|We host social events (eg. Open Mic|
|Nights) for the community<br>to build|
|relationships<br>and provide an affordable|
|time out together.|
|We provided<br>support to social welfare|
|initiatives<br>at Christmas|
|~<br>Crisis at Christmas<br>(financial support to|
|the homeless<br>in London).|
|~<br>Christmas<br>food boxes (we purchased,|
|packed and delivered 25food hampers|
|to share the love ofJesus with|
|struggling<br>families<br>in Yateley.|
|Our Pastor, Dave Wheeldon,<br>meets|
|regularly<br>with the leaders ofother local|
|churches<br>in Yateley to share ideas and find|
|ways to work effectively together for the|
|good ofour community.|
|Whilst still a relatively<br>small church (circa|
|50 members)<br>Our House Yateley has and|
|will continue<br>to make a significant<br>impact|
|on the lives ofpeople<br>in our community|
|irrespective as to whether<br>they go to|
|church.<br>We are recognised as a place|
|where people feel welcome,<br>loved and|
|cared for and our reputation<br>in our|
|community<br>as a church that makes a|
|difference continues<br>to expand.<br>Our aim is|
|to<br>o even further<br>in 2023.|
