Objectives and Activities:
Th¢ purpos￿ of the cljarity as set out in our governing dOcU￿t . the Trust Deed are:
l. The promotion of the Ortjxmknx Christian faith in a(xordance with the statement
of faith by:

principles of One Holy Catholic Ortbodox and Apostolic Chutch.
Ib) Providing pastoral care. inforn￿tIon services. religious and other charitable work
of the church for the benefit of the Community in Cardiff
The nlain activities undertaken in relation to those purposes were as described above -
Regular Liturgical services were h¢ld at St. John's Church in Canton, Cardiff and pastoral
care was provided by The Reverend Hien)monk Mark (Underwood) on aD ongoing basis
by phone, by email and in &8 pernjitted by th¢ prevailing Welsh Government

fulfilled. The first indicator was a doubling of week]y renL placing an unsustsinable
financial burden on the parish. As a resulL the weekly booking slot had to be reduced,
with ad hoc ¢xteLsions for Iytisms and special occasions.
The change ID Angb"can thin1stratio￿ a150 resulted in the Lf5salion of weekday and
Saturday evening services in Cant0￿ for which we were not previously charged, given
their duration atld the lack of utilities usrt particularly in the summer months.
Through the generosity of the Sisters of Na7Areth and the Oratory of St Philip Neri,
weekday confessions and services were celelxated in Na72reth House and the church of
