Section C Objectives and activities
Summary of the objects of the charity set out in its governing document
For the public benefit, the advancement of education of young people in the Global South by the provision of education infrastructure for children and young adults. In addition the charity is working in agricultural areas to support farming practices that have positive environmental benefits, including, but not limited to carbon uptake. In furtherance to this objective, but not further or otherwise, the trustees should have the following powers: to raise funds.

The trustees has sought to put in structures to enable the charity to progress, but have struggled as the requirements for a bank account have evolved, we understand that this is common with other CIOs. The charity has essentially (other than administration) not ‘traded’. The Trustees are actively looking for solutions to this so that the purpose the charity was formed to deliver can still be realised.

The trustees are aware of the Charity Commission's public benefit guidance and have regard to it when exercising any of their powers or duties to which the guidance is relevant, this includes the activities of the charity.
