Flnanclal Revlew
The Soclevs alm Is to fund the talks, admlnlstratlon of the $￿Iety and the runnlng of the archlve

At the end of the flnanclal year the Soclety had £23,303 In unrestrlcted funds. The maln flnanclal
rlsks are the loss of premlse5 to house the archlve, damage to archlve Items and stora8e space, a

In accoraance wlth the constltutlon one third of trustees retlre each year at the annual general
meetlng but they are ellglble for re-electlon. New trustee5 can be elected at the AGM to fill
vacancles or can be appolnted by the trustees durln8 the year. All trustees glve thelr tlme
voluntarlly and recelve no remuneratlon or other beneflt.
Followlng the reslgnatlon of the Chalr at the last AGM none of the exlstlng trustees felt able to take
on the role. It was therefore a8reed to rotate the posltlon of Chalr at meetln8s and to redlstrlbute
the other re5ponslbllftles amongst the other trustees. This arran8ement has worked well thls year.
The Soclety has contlnued to develop polldes to 8uide Its actlvltles. Thls year a pollLy on serlous
