## **Trustee Annual Report 2023/24**
Last financial year, Glenavon Community Club were successful in applying for a £20,000 grant from Wirral Council under the Household Support Fund. The application was to fund winter jackets for children in and around the Prenton area and neighbouring wards.
We liaised with our kit provider who supplied the jackets for £30 per jacket.
With additional funding provided by Glenavon JFC we were able to fund 700 winter jackets for vulnerable children’s supporting their welfare and further supporting those local families of this burden during this cost-of-living crisis.
This funding was reported on last year and included in this year’s accounts.
We have just started a Pan Disability Team and hope to grow this more in the coming years to offer other activities for other groups.
We plan to start to grow the charity side of the club, planning to link in with other local groups to offer a sport and recreational facility to those in need or provide something different for our community that is not already provided.
