Trustee Annual Report 2022/23
Over the past twelve months, Glenavon Community Club were successful in applying for a £20,000 grant from Wirral Council under the Household Support Fund. The application was to fund winter jackets for children in and around the Prenton area and neighbouring wards.
We liaised with our kit provider who supplied the jackets for £30 per jacket.
With additional funding provided by Glenavon JFC we were able to fund 700 winter jackets for vulnerable children’s supporting their welfare and further supporting those local families of this burden during this cost-of-living crisis.
This funding was received and spent after the June 2023 so is not included in this years accounts.
We have recruited two further trustees, namely Joe Duckworth and Chris Banks, and have plans to expand our charitable activities going forward.
Accounts are a nil return for June 2022 to June 2023.
