Snow / storms/ flooding<br>have all caused travel disruption. However, by our<br>volunteers using their own 4x4 vehicles we have enabled<br>NHS, Emergency services, Domiciliary care, and<br>residential care staff to perform their vital roles. Be that<br>transporting staff to their place of work or on rounds. The<br>police have taken note of our skill set and have been<br>requesting our assistance more and more.<br>The charity during this period has provided 158 hours of<br>volunteer time covering 3916 miles and has been<br>deployed 74 times to help the community.|

We set our selves the objective of helping the<br>community in adverse weather and have been proactive<br>with our engagement with the emergency services. This<br>has led to very positive feed back<br>We have agreements with the Emergency services, with<br>the NHS and many Derbyshire care providers. Many that<br>have called upon us to help and have been appreciative of<br>the professional volunteer's assistance.<br>An objective is also to have every active member trained<br>to be safe when volunteering in adverse weather. Which<br>we have achieved through in house and external training.|
