spiritual leaders {mamo$) and thc Organiza¢ion Gonaivindua Tayrona IOGD. Thi5 V151t W3S ¢riti¢ai in re•estsblishin8
mutual alignm¢nt on the Mun¢kan Masha project. a key initiative of the Tntst that fo¢us¢5 on land r¢storation, Cul￿￿1
reg¢n¢ration, and Indigenous-l¢d environmell￿ edu¢8tion.
During this Yisil. the Kogi people out]ined s¢v¢ral significattt changes to the project stru¢tur¢ to ensure it more deeply
reflected their cosmology. values and priorities. As a resuli, the project undenvent a f￿damen(al redesign, placing
strong¢r empha515 tTaditional ecological knowledge and culturally grounded models of land stewardship. The visit
a150 fornially marked the handover of project leaderthip wiihin the Trust, th¢ Cabildo of OGT a¢knowl¢dging Luci
Attala as the new Chair.
Throughout the remaind¢r of the yeaT, the frnst Worked to implement rhe redesign in clos¢ collaboration with the Kogi.
While fijndraising efforts have Continued to support this revised vision. no new funding was SeCUT¢d during the year. and
efforts will cortlinu¢ inio 2025. The Trusi r¢maiD$ conimhtted 10 ¢nsufiD8 cultural intwity in the implementation of
Munekan Masha.

lo S¢ptember 2024, NaT¢lSO, the 50n of Mamo Manuel w￿ared in the do¢um¢nrary Aluna). visited the UK.
During his vÉsil, he delivertd a public talk ai the Royal Anthropologi¢al Institute {RAII in London. Th¢ event w•s well
attended and provided 2 unique opportunity for direct engagement with a Kogi repr¢s¢ntative. dttpening public
ndeTStandin8 of the Indigenou5 worldview and the ¢nvironrnental insights 1¢ offers.
In November 2D24, the Trnst supported the s¢r¢¢ning of a short film tiil¢d "Among the Clouds" ¢r¢ated by Ja¢into, a
young Kogi filmmpker. The fi]m was shomn at the UN Biodiv¢rsity Confer¢nGe ICOP161 in Cali. C￿lombia, as part of
an effort to amplify Indig¢nous voice5 Within global environm¢ntal dialogu¢s. The film is th¢ first ever made by a Ko81
filmmaker without Eur￿A￿tricall influence. The ￿TtenIng was well received and highlighted th¢ Trust's ongoitig
¢ommitment to 5UPPOrting the next gcne￿IL0ft of Indi8ertous sioryxellers and kllowl¢dg¢ holders.
Additionally, the film and its creator were fcattjred by Princ¢ton Theolo¥i¢a] SemiThary's Open Plaza plarforni, a digital
initiatiwe of the Hispanic Theological Initiative that highlights the WO￿ of BJPOC thinkers and artists. Opcn P18za's
iD¢lusion of Jacinto's film refle¢ts growing international recognition of Indigettous-led Btorytelling and reinforees the
Trust's ongoing commitment to sUpporti￿g the n¢xt generation of Kogi.

The year 2024 marked a period of leadership transition and re￿Wed strat¢gi¢ fo¢us for the Tairon8 H¢ritag¢ Trust
{TFrr). In January 2024. Prof¢ssor. Luci Attala formally assum¢d the role of Chair of th¢ Trusl bringing a fiysh
perspective and an established commitment tts ¢ollaborntive, community-led approa¢hes.
While Alan Ereira. founder and long-time Chatr. remaind a trustee during the early part of the year, he officially r￿]red
from the Board in May 2024, marking th¢ end of his dir¢ct involvemcnt in the TNJSVS governance. His legacy remains
foundztional to the nii55ion and etlMTrS of the Trus( and his work ¢ontinues to iNpire ourpartnerships and dirertion.
In May, the Trust a]50 welcomed Vion Sharif as a new twstee. Vian brings signifi¢ant ¢xpertise in bitsdiversity dats and
sustainability im)ovation- knowledge that is p8rti¢ularly vthluable for th¢ advancernent of the Mun¢kan Masha proj¢¢t.
