The trustees present their annual report and fi'nancial statements for the year ended 30 November 2025.
Structure. Governance and Management

The Haji Bashir Ahmed Foundation I'the charity'l is a Charitable Incorporated Organisation ICIOI govemed by its
constitution, adopted on 22 November 2021.
Trustee Appointment and Induction
New trustees are appointed by the existing board in accordance with the constitution. Upon appointment, trustees
receive èn induction covering their legal obligations under charity law. the provisions of the constitution. and the
charity's objectives and recent performance.
Organisational Structuro and Risk Management
The charity 15 governed by it5 board of trustees, who meet regularly to oversee operations and Strategic direction.
The trustees identify and review key risks on an ongoing basis and take appropri3te steps to mitigate them.
Objectives and Activitie5
Charltable ObJe¢tlves
The charity'5 purpose 15 to a5515t those in need due to youth. age. ill health. disability. financial hardship. or other
disadvantage. Its activities are focused principally in Pakistan, Nigeria, and Sierra Leone, as well as within the local
community in Stoke-on-Trent, UK.
Publlc Benefit
The trLJStees confirm that they have had due regard to the Charity Commission's guidance on public benefit. All
activities undertaken during the year were carried out to further the charity's charitable purposes for the benefit of
the public.
K•y Activities and Achievèments
During the year ended 30 November 2025. the charity carried out the following activitie5'.
Edu¢atlon
The charity funded the education of 64 primary school pupils across three schools in Pakistan, of whom 20 are
orphans. These children come from very poor families and could not otherwise attend school. Three university
students were also supported through their degree studies. The charity believes this investment in education benefits
both the individuals and their wider communities.
H•althcar
A free weekly medical clinic continued to operate in P3kist3n, providing consultations and medicines at no cost to
patients from surrounding villages, with referrals made to local doctors where required. The charity also operates two
ambulance5 providing free emergency tran5POrt to local communities. Direct financial a5515tance was provided to 32
individuals toward5 medical treatment costs including surgery, cancer treatment, and dialysis.
Housing
Four widows were supported with the construction of homes during the year, providing secure, pemianent
accommodation. The charity intends to extend this support in the coming year.
Additional Progr3mmes
The charity a150 delivered a Ramadan iftar programme. providing daily meals to vulnerable familie5 acro55 Pakistan.
Nigeria, and Sierra Leone,. interest-free loans to eight individuals to help establish sm811 businesses,. financial
assistance to 30 vulnerable families,. support towards wedding costs for 11 families,. and clean water installations in
Ghana and Pakistan.
Communlty Outre8¢h - Stokevon-Trent
In the UK, the charity continued its local community activities in Stoke-on-Trent, including gir15' activities at the YMCA,
commLJnity litter-picking, a summer charity funday, and donations to families and pupils at a local primary school.

The charity continued to grow during the year. with both income and expenditure increasing compared to the prior
year, reflecting the expansion of its activities. A surplus was generated, further strengthening the charity's financial
position. Full details are set out in the Statement of Financial Activities.
Reserves Policy
The trustees maintain reserves to ensure the ongoing sustainability of the charity and its ability to meet
commitments as they fall due. This policy is reviewed annually. All funds are held as unrestricted funds. giving the
trustees full flexibility in their application.
Plans for the Future
In the coming year. the trustees plan to..
Continue the free medical clinic and education support programmes.
Extend ambulance provision in remote villages of Pakistan.
Support further widows with housing construction.
Raise the charity's profile in the UK to attract additional funding.
Recruit additional trustees to support the charity's growing activities.
Continue community engagement projects in Stoke-on-Trent.
Trustees. Responslbllltles
The trustees are responsible for preparing the trustees, report and the financial statements in accordance with
applicable law and United Kingdom Accounting Standards (United Kingdom Generally Accepted Accounting Practice).
Charity law requires the trustees to prepare financial statements for each financial year that give a true and fair view
of the state of affairs of the charity and of its incoming resources and application of resources during the
year. In preparing the financial statements. the trustees are required to..
select suitable accounting policies and apply them consistently.
Observe the methods and principles of the Charities SORP IFRS 1021.
Make judgements and estimate5 that are reasonable and prudent.
State whether applicable accounting standards have been followed.
Prepare the financial statements on a going concern basis unless it is inappropriate to presume that the charity
will continue to operate.
The trustees are responsible for keeping proper accounting records that disclose with reasonable accuracy at
any time the financial p051tion of the charity. and for safeguarding it5 a55et5 and taking reasonable steps to prevent
and detect fraud 3nd other irregularities.

l. Accounting Policies
The principal accounting policies adopted by the Charity, which is 3 public benefit entity, in the preparation of the
accounts are as follows.
1.1 Basls of preparatlon
These accounts have been prepared under the historical cost convention, as modified by the inclusion of charitable
properties and lixed asset investments and investment properties at valuation.
These accounts have been prepared in accordance with 'Accounting and Reporting by Charities.. Statement of
Recommended Practice applicatile to charities preparing their accounts in accordance with the Financial Reporting
Standard applicable in the UK arid Republic of Ireland IFRS 1021" (effective I january 20191 (Charities SORP IFRS
10211, the Financial Reporting standard applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland IFRS 1021 and the Charities Act
2011.
These accounts are presented in pounds sterling and rounded to the nearest pound.
1.2 Golng concern
The Trustees have prepared financial projections, taking into consideration the current economic conditions and
have. at the time of approving these accounts. a reasonable expectation that the charity has adequate resources to
continue in operational existence for the foreseeable future. Thus they continue to adopt the going concem basis of
accounting in preparing the accounts.
