This award-winning volunteer-run registered not-for-profit voucher organisation was created to help people in need, either directly or through organisations, to buy essentials like food, groceries, toiletries, clothing, pet food, non-alcoholic drink and babies/children’s stuff from high street shops such as Aldi, Iceland, Primark, etc with a £10 (min) evoucher. We are now national.
ITS STRUCTURE AND DETAILS OF HOW IT IS MANAGED, INCLUDING HOW IT RECRUITS TRUSTEES.
There are 2 forms on the website, 1 for organisations and 1 for people in need directly. Organisations provide proof by means of a letterhead with the recipient’s name on it.
People in need have to enter their email address and verify the email which takes then to the form, provide evidence of their name and address, as well as the form asks for their postcode. if they are homeless then a letter from the GP. If they don’t have a GP Once completed, a copy of the form is sent to the recipient along with a validation code. I then message them to ask for the validation code. I then message them to build a rapport.
Theresa runs it primarily on her own with some help from her trustee, Rob and a couple of supporters
We are struggling to recruit trustees and get donations or funding. I go to networking meetings to promote the scheme

To help as many people in need as possible. This financial year we’ve helped 3 new organisations who support people and families, 1 from Bristol and 1 from Newcastle.

20 requests from 4 different organisations from around the country, with 1 organisation needing 20 vouchers for homeless females to encourage them to join the women’s census.

MissingLink, they offer support to women who are struggling with their mental health, and all victims and survivors of domestic and sexual violence and abuse.

Leah (name changed) is severely struggling with food at the moment. She has fled from a domestic abusive relationship and has no funds to buy food. Leah is in dire need of this voucher as she has no other option for food. Leah wants to gain back her independence and I believe that this voucher will help her return normalcy.

Change Grow Live (CGL) is a UK charity that provides support and rehabilitation services for individuals facing issues related to substance misuse, crime, and social challenges. Founded in 1977, it offers various programs including counselling, housing advice, and mutual aid.

Change Grow Live, Homeless Engagement and Recovery Team (HEaRT) are looking for 20 vouchers for give to women during our women census week 23rd to 29th Sept 2024.

Welcome to The Wellness Tribe CIC, We are a non-profit social enterprise, registered both in the UK and overseas, dedicated to supporting individuals and families who are at high risk of experiencing mental health issues due to social and personal factors such as poverty, lack of skills, racial trauma, language barriers, refugee and asylum experiences, health, economic inequalities, unemployment, and poor housing.

The dad is in desperate need of shoes for a child and clothing and shoes for himself. The kid literally don't have any shoes to wear as I am writing this message and dad needs new clothes and shoes as well he's wearing very old stuff.

- 1 is for essentials, inc. baby milk, nappies and some food. And the other one is for a little girl, it’s her birthday soon and her mum can’t afford a cake, juice and some treats and a little present for her.

Cranstoun is a UK-based charity that provides support and services for people affected by alcohol, drugs, crime, domestic abuse and homelessness.
I have a regular (monthly) donor as well as donations through Easyfundraising (online shopping) and Justgiving.
