# **All Saints CE Primary School and Nursery Parent, Teacher, Friend Association (PTFA) Chairs Report 2024-2025** 


## **Objectives and activities** 

**I am honoured to present the Chair's Report for the 2024/ 2025 Annual General Meeting of All Saints CE Primary School and Nursery PTFA. This is my third year as chair and I feel like we are a small, but mighty group of parents and carers who have every child’s best interest at heart and thrive to embed ‘it takes a village to raise a child’ within our amazing community. **Summary of the objectives of the charity set out in its governing document** 

The object of All Saints CE Primary School and Nursery PTFA is to advance the education of pupils of the school in particular by: 

1. Developing effective relationships between staff, parents and others associated with the school 

2. Engaging in activities or providing facilities or equipment which support the school and advance the education of the pupils 

The past fundraising year, August 1[st] 2024- 31[st] July 2025 has been a real success for All Saints Primary School and Nursery PTFA. In the past 12 months we have recruited and retained a dedicated core committee team, seen new faces come through as volunteers and been well supported by the school and wider community.

Achievements and performance 

All Saints CE Primary School and Nursery PTFA have proved to have excellent support **Summary of** from parents, governors, teachers, local councillors and businesses within our **the main** community. Our support of fund-raising events throughout the year is very much **achievements** appreciated by the committee. **of the charity during the year** We were thrilled to be able to provide the school with over £6750 towards school trips and experiences for every year group including nursery. Reading was a huge project for the PTFA this year and we were so pleased to provide £4000 towards library renovations as well as fund almost £1000 in reading incentive prizes. 

To encourage the love of reading, we were also grateful to be in a position to pay for author and illustrator Chris Wormell to spend a day with all our children. 

This year, we increased our social value from local businesses and embraced more business networking relationships. This meant our Christmas Fair raised a huge £6128.32 which incredible as it’s an indoor only event. Thanks must be given to all the volunteers throughout the year who contribute to the activities of the PTFA in the quest to raise much needed funds. **Financial review** Our adopted constitution states: **Brief statement of the charity’s** 3.7 to set aside funds for special purposes or as reserves against future expenditure **policy on reserves** We are pleased to announce that we successfully opened a savings account in 2023/2024 and accrued £58.86 in interest and were able to move into the next financial year with a savings pot of £3870.63 

I welcome all members present today to consider supporting the PTFA, and encourage anyone willing to contribute their time, skills, and passion for our school community to step forward. There are always roles that need filling, whether its social media guru, idea giver, selling raffle tickets, or cake baker, your involvement will be instrumental in ensuring the continuity and growth of our PTA's activities. 

In conclusion, I am proud of what our small PTFA has achieved in 2025 and want to thank everyone for their involvement, enthusiasm, and dedication. 

Together, we have made a positive impact on the lives of our children and the school community, and I am confident that our PTFA will continue to flourish.

I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of the above charity (“the Trust”) for the year ended 31/07/2025. 

- **Responsibilities and** As the charity trustees of the Trust, you are responsible for the preparation **basis of report** of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 (“the Act”). 

I report in respect of my examination of the Trust’s accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I have followed the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act.
