**Bowers Allerton Trust** is a charitable organisation dedicated to the preservation and maintenance of the historic Bowers Allerton Hall, Chapel and its surrounding gardens, located in the heart of Great Preston and Allerton Bywater, Leeds. 

Through careful stewardship and a dedication to the community, Bowers Allerton Trust ensures that these historical landmarks continue to enrich the lives of locals. The Trust’s mission is to ensure the buildings are appropriately maintained and available for use by community groups and members of the public. 

## Accounts Overview 

The charitable trust took over the Bowers Allerton Hall and Chapel, formally known as the Bowers Mission Hall, in January 2023. 

The charitable trust was founded on 16[th] November, 2021 but had no capital at the time. 

On the 17[th] January, 2023, initial hiring fees were made totalling £600 to start the fundraising for the trust. 

On the 21[st] March, 2023, after the transfer of ownership and legal fees were paid, the previous trust transferred remaining capital of £8278.14 to Bowers Allerton Trust. 

During this initial period, building and contents insurance was initiated and an initial payment made for electricity. 

There were no further expenses or income during this time, but at the financial year end the trust is in a good position to commence the charitable work to maintain the building for the benefit of the community.
