|Summary of the main<br>achievements of the charity,<br>identifying the difference the<br>charity’s work has made to<br>the circumstances of its<br>beneficiaries and any wider<br>benefits to society as a<br>whole.|Para 1.20|In difficult economic times with many<br>financial pressures upon individuals and<br>families, and against a backdrop of limited<br>financial resources available from<br>governmental departments, Sketty<br>Foodbank has provided vital support to<br>those in urgent need.<br>In addition to emergency food we have<br>provided toiletries and household items and<br>endeavoured to maintain the dignity of<br>those who call upon our services.<br>We have engaged with a number of<br>support agencies including health visitors,<br>social workers, probation officers and<br>schools.<br>We have worked particularly closely with<br>Swansea Asylum Seeker Services, Unity<br>and Diversity and local Councillors in<br>supporting refugees and asylum seekers.<br>When the Foodbank was initially set up,<br>approximately 60 referrals per month were<br>being handled. At the end of this reporting<br>period, there were approximately 150<br>made, with little evidence of a drop in<br>numbers anticipated.|

As the charitys trustees. you are responsible for the preparation of the
accounts in a¢¢ordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011

I report in respect of my examination of the Trust's accounts carried out
und8r s8Ction 145 of the 2011 Act and in carying out my examination, I
have followed all the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission
under section 14515Xb) of the Act.
