## **3. Structure, Governance and Management** 

The charity is a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO) governed by its constitution. Trustees are appointed in accordance with the governing document and are collectively responsible for the strategic direction and governance of the charity. No trustee received any remuneration during the period. 



## **4. Objectives and Activities** 

## **Charitable Objectives** 

The charity's objective is to support medical students and healthcare initiatives through educational, outreach, and mission-based activities aimed at improving healthcare access and knowledge. 

## **Activities for the Year** 

During this reporting period, the charity remained in a development and pre-operational phase. The trustees, all of whom are practising medical doctors working within the NHS, continued to focus on: 

- Building professional networks with NHS colleagues, GP practices, and healthcare organisations 

- Exploring potential partnerships and opportunities for future programme delivery 

- Developing a sustainable strategy for launching UK-based charitable activities 

- Welcoming new trustees to strengthen the governance of the charity 

The charity also received early-stage voluntary donations during this period, reflecting community support for its mission. These funds are being held to support future planned activities. 

No formal charitable programmes were delivered during this period. The trustees are continuing preparatory and foundational work, with the aim of initiating active programmes in 2025–2026. 

## **5. Financial Review** 

Total income for the year was £870.00, comprising voluntary cash donations received in March 2025 and subsequently deposited into the charity's bank account. Total expenditure was £0. The closing fund balance as at 1 April 2025 is £870.00. 

The trustees hold these funds in reserve to support future charitable activities in line with the charity's objectives. No expenditure has yet been incurred as the charity remains in a preoperational phase. 

## **Reserves Policy:** 

The charity is in an early development phase. Reserves are held to support the future delivery of charitable activities and will be deployed in alignment with the charity's objectives once operations commence.

The accounts have been prepared on a receipts and payments basis in accordance with the Charities Act 2011 and applicable regulations.

Cash donations totalling £870.00 were received during the period. These were initially held in cash and subsequently deposited into the charity's bank account upon its establishment. All funds are unrestricted.
