such as paintballing and mountain hiking,
regularly take place lo unite Muslims from

trying to place an emphasis on engaging thg
youth. In order lo raise money for worlhy
causes.
Charity drives. including efforts lo hand in
old computets. make boxes of
foodldolhinglblankels, give in old clolh8S
and donate food parcels and money. are
regularly Inllialed lo support victims of
natural disasters such as floods and
earthquakes, as well as lo provide aid to

The Handsworth Wood Youth Forum
contlnued to work In collaboration with the
As-suffa Outreach programme in helping to
provide hot food and shelter for
Blrmlngham's homeless population. Working
from a unit in Birmingham City Centre,
homeless people from the city- Muslims and
non-muslims allke - are invited to partake of
hol meals every evening, as well as belng
able to stay overnight in the heated unil
during the wlnler months, with clean and
warm blankets and slaeping bags provid8d.

collaboration between Masjid Aisha and As-
Suffa was extended lo provide food parcels
for those elderly, disabled, people who were
shieldSng due lo health conditions and
people who could not afford basic essenli818

receSving furlough support. People from the
communlty donated foodstuffs and basic
hygiane ossenlials whlch were then packed
Into parcels by volunteers who also
distributed the Parcels to thos8 in n88d.
Our annual program was held for Ihe local
cornmunlly, for both Musllms and non-
Muslims alike, where lectures were given
and dinner was served. This proved lo be a
resounding success. wllh many members of
the community giving great feedback about
how the evenl helped lo brfno dlffergnl parts
of the community together.
