For children aged 9 - 16 years old,
we placed a strong emphasis on non-
curricular and co-curricular education e.g.
emotional and mental health, cultural
heritage, nutrition etc. The
supplementation of mainstream
education helped to increase the
confdence and self-esteem of our
targeted group. The Saturday School has
proved to be invaluable in strengthening
relationships between parents and their
children. It also provides opportunity for
intergenerational learning which is
something we would like to further
develop going forwards. The tutors have
mainly been individuals who have
generously volunteered their time and
resources to improve the academic
achievement of our targetedgroup.|
