## **Governing Document** 

The Purple Touch is a registered charity adopted in accordance with the requirements of the Charity Commission for England and Wales. 

## **Trustee Appointment** 

Trustees are appointed in accordance with the charity's governing document. New trustees are recruited and appointed based on their alignment with the charity’s values and their ability to contribute relevant skills and experience. 

## **2. Objectives and Activities** 

## **Charitable Objectives** 

The purpose of The Purple Touch is to reach and support underprivileged individuals and families in our communities through practical assistance and empowerment programs. 

## **Public Benefit** 

In carrying out our activities during the year, the trustees have had due regard to the Charity Commission’s guidance on public benefit. 

## **3. Achievements and Performance** 

During the reporting year (01 December 2023 to 30 November 2024), The Purple Touch: 

- Provided direct support (including care packages and community outreach) to individuals in need within the local area. 

- Organised a small fundraising campaign to help fund activities and build awareness of our mission. 

- Laid the groundwork for future initiatives, including potential partnerships with local communities. 

## **4. Financial Review** 



## **Income** 

The total income for the year amounted to **£1,227** . This income was primarily raised through donations and small fundraising activities. **Expenditure** 

Total expenditure during the year was **£337** , with funds spent on community outreach, supplies, and running costs. 

## **Reserves Policy** 

The charity maintains a modest level of reserves to ensure it can meet its obligations and continue essential services. The trustees aim to build a more sustainable reserve in future periods. 

## **Financial Position** 

At year-end, the charity held a surplus of £890, which will be carried forward to the next financial year and allocated to future planned projects. 

## **5. Plans for the Future** 

Looking ahead, The Purple Touch aims to: 

- Expand outreach to more underprivileged individuals. 

- Launch new initiatives focused on empowerment and wellbeing.
