## Trustees’ Annual Report and Accounts (Year Ending December 31, 2023)

## 1. Introduction

Kingdom Cricket International is committed to promoting cricket as a means of fostering community spirit, physical fitness, and teamwork. Our activities include organizing cricket matches, coaching sessions, and community outreach programs.

Cricket is a popular sport that involves two teams of eleven players each, who compete to score the most runs by hitting a ball with a bat and running between two sets of wickets. Cricket is not only a game of skill, strategy, and teamwork, but also a potential platform for making disciples of Jesus Christ. Here are some ways that cricket can be used as a way to make discipleship:

KCI can create opportunities for evangelism and outreach. Cricket players and fans can share the gospel with their teammates, opponents, spectators, and friends, using the sport as a common ground and a bridge to build relationships. Cricket can also be used to organize events, tournaments, and camps that attract people who are interested in the sport and expose them to the message of salvation and the love of God.

KCI can foster spiritual growth and character development. Cricket players and fans can learn and apply biblical principles and values to their sport, such as honesty, integrity, humility, perseverance, respect, and teamwork. Cricket can also teach them to deal with challenges, failures, and successes in a godly way, and to depend on God for strength, guidance, and wisdom. Cricket can also help them to develop disciplines such as prayer, worship, and Bible study, as they seek to honour God with their talents and abilities.

KCI can facilitate community and fellowship. Cricket players and fans can form meaningful and lasting relationships with other believers who share their passion for the sport and for Christ. Cricket can also help them to support, encourage, and edify one another, as they grow together in faith and maturity. Cricket can also enable them to serve, care, and minister to one another, as they bear one another's burdens and share one another's joys.

KCI can inspire mission and multiplication. Cricket players and fans can use their sport as a tool to reach out to the unreached and the unchurched, especially in regions where cricket is popular and influential. Cricket can also help them to disciple others who come to faith through their witness and testimony, and to equip them to do the same. Cricket

can also motivate them to pray, give, and go for the advancement of God's kingdom and the glory of His name.

In conclusion, cricket is more than just a sport. It is a way to make discipleship, as it provides opportunities for evangelism, growth, community, and mission. Cricket can be used by God to transform lives, families, and nations, as He works through His people who love Him and love the game.

Cricket is a sport that can be used to share the good news of Jesus Christ with people who love the game and need His grace. By playing cricket with integrity, excellence, and joy, we can demonstrate the character and values of God's kingdom and invite others to join us. By sharing our testimonies, stories, and insights, we can communicate the gospel message and its relevance to our lives and the world. By inviting people to our cricket events, camps, and clubs, we can connect them to our church community and help them grow in their faith and discipleship. By equipping and empowering them to use their gifts and talents for God's glory, we can multiply our impact and reach more people for Christ. Cricket is not only a sport, but a ministry that can transform lives and nations for God's glory.
