Solidarity Appeal has a grant policy based on which it gives grants to local registered charities in Yemen and other areas in the world to deliver charitable activities to minimise the suffering of the most vulnerable communities and families.

Objects: The Objects Of The CIO Are The Following:3.1 The Relief Of Financial Hardship Among People In The Third World Countries, By Providing Such Persons With Goods/services Which They Could Not Otherwise Afford Through Lack Of Means;3.2 For The Public Benefit, The Relief And Assistance Of People In Third World Countries And Throughout The World Who Are The Victims Of War And/or Victims Of Natural Disasters, By Supplying Them With Food, Shelter, Medicine, Clean Water, Educational Materials And Other Relief Items As The Trustees See Fit;3.3 The Relief Of Sickness And The Preservation Of Health Among People In Third World Countries, And Throughout The World As The Trustees See Fit;3.4 The Advancement Of Education For The Public Benefit Of People In Third World Countries;3.5 Such Charitable Purposes For The Public Benefit As Are Exclusively Charitable According To The Laws Of England And Wales As The Trustees May From Time To Time Determine.nothing In This Constitution Shall Authorise An Application Of The Property Of The CIO For The Purposes Which Are Not Charitable.
