Our ath'vrties aim to seprfe a wide range of
users, both from the pansh and
surrounding areas. These include an art
group. a school holiday Glub. Wetherby in
Support of the Elderfy, children's dance
dasses, pilates classes. church and Parish
Council events as well as children's parties
and three wedding re￿PtiOns.
In all we had around 50 drfFerent users
bookirtg the hall during the period, and
several hundred visrtors.
Communrty events were held for bonfire
night and at Christmas.

Achievements and Performance

Throughout much of the year projects to
improve the structure and energy efficiency
of the hall, and to build an extension to
house new toilet facilities, were being
planned and fundiThJ sought This funding
was all secured and In pla￿ by the year
end.
Meanwhile, through promotion on social
media and other channels, we have
continued to increase usage of the village
hall both in temis of regular users and one-
off hi￿$ for parties. weddings and other
events. This has increased our revenue
stream to provide for increased running
costs and ongoing mainlenance. The hall is
thnving both as a focal pjint for parish
activities and in serving the social needs of
the surroundin
area.

The financial position of the tharity is
robust, wrth a cash balance of £51,000,
including restncted fvnds of £32,000, and
no contractual financial commitments. The
charity has no t)orrowings. The charty is
forecast to eam a surplus in the
forthcomin
ear from its activrties.
The Trustees aspire to maintain a free cash
balance of £5000. which would be sufficient
to sustain operations without any further
funding for a penod of 12 months. The
trustees have been fundraising to make
signtficanl improvements to the Village Hall.
Grants received for this purpose are held
as Restricted Funds. The Trustees also
hold Designated funds for the purpose of
the Villa
